| linguistics is the scientific study of language .it concerns itself with the fundamental questions of what language is and how it is related to the other human faculties .In answering these questions linguists consider language as a cultural,social,and psychological phenonenon and seek to determine what is nuique,uinversal in languages .Therefor, linguistics is one of the congnitive sciences; it provides a link between the humanities and the social sciences , as well as education and hearing andspeech sciences.
language
language is the expression of human communication through which knowledge,belief,behavior can be experienced, explained , and shared .This sharing is based on systematic, conventionally used signs, sounds, gestures , or marks that convey understood meanings within a group or community .Recent research identifies "windows of opportunity" for acquiring language--written spoken , or signed -- that exist within the first few years of life.
